Cake Smash is a great way to celebrate and mark your baby or toddlers Birthday. I always ensure I get some photos before the mess begins and parents are welcome to join in for some family portraits.
Most of my Cake Smash session take place outdoors (such as your favourite park), however during the winter months I also offer my home studio as an alternative location.
You can either make your own cake or buy one (please contact me for details on which cakes work best). Most babies have never had the taste of cake before, so it makes for some great photos of their actions and funny facial expressions. It’s amazing to see how different each baby reacts! Toddlers have their own personalities and that’s what makes a cake smash shoot so much fun. You never know what they’re going to do!
I suggest to book your cake smash session just before your baby turns one. That way if you would like to use the images for their 1st birthday party invitations, they will be ready in time (please allow two weeks).
